Overall

The overall experience is wonderful. Walk or drive down State St. and experience restaurants, coffee shops and more. Covid hit this area hard, with many shops closing. Not quite as high end as previous years but still relaxed, upscale and very pretty.

SANTA BARBARA, CALIFORNIA

Santa Barbara, California known as The American Riviera is a beautiful coastal beach town north of Los Angeles. A getaway for many Southern California locals, Santa Barbara has so much to offer. There is outdoor recreation from beaches to mountains, world class food and wine country, with hundreds of restaurants to choose from and sunny California weather.

Whether it’s relaxing on the beach, exploring the main streets or browsing art galleries, museums and eclectic boutiques, or grabbing a coffee or lunch, you’ll find plenty of things to do when you visit Santa Barbara.

While it is called the Central Coast, it is really Southern California or Southern Coastal California. You’ll find the freshest ingredients on your table and in your glass. Locally sourced, farm-to-table meals, beer, wine and cocktails await your taste buds. When it comes to food and drink here, perhaps the hardest choice you’ll make is where to dine. Fresh-off-the-boat seafood, Santa Maria-style tri tip barbecue, authentic Mexican cuisine and other coastal-inspired creations all pair perfectly with local wines and beers. Great breakfast stops with ocean views are great choices too.

Santa Barbara is a beautiful coastal beach town great for a true California getaway.
