OXBOW PUBLIC MARKET NAPA VALLEY
Located across the Napa River, an unexpected surprise awaits you in the Oxbow Public Market in Napa. We found it by driving one day through Downtown Napa, and saying lets see what's on the other side of that river. We were pleasantly surprised to see a warehouse loft, modern building brimming with people.
The industrial, modern and pretty market features local food vendors, artisan cafes and an organic produce outlet for local farms. It has wine vendors, a full oyster bar, bakeries, olive oil, chocolates and so much more. The Public Market is a great mixture of organic and/or sustainably-produced local crops, other regional specialties, and other high quality and unique food products. It also actively supports sustainable and organic farming practices, owner-operated businesses, local food producers and the agricultural community of the Napa Valley and surrounding regions.
It is a manageable walkable experience. You can grab a pizza or sandwich, or oysters, sit at a communal or private table and people watch. Then walk along and peruse the different vendors and shops. Don't forget to check out the cupcakes and chocolates, you'll be in for a treat.
